mine had strobes in the headlights and taillights but they dont work anymore.

Go to the dealer and tell them your VIN. Maybe they can look it up somehow...

tried that, the part is discontinued, but i found a bunch of sites about the daytonas, and if urs had strobes wither someone put them in or it was used as a pace car, ive been thinking about putting in the kit but with my luck theyed get turned on and i get pulled over, i had illumanation in my grill and under the hood and i got pulled over cuz the switch was broken so i ripped them out

Hmmmm... I thought they would be able to figure where that car was sold from. Back then each Pontiac dealer got one of these cars and Im sure somewhere in their paperwork it says what Daytona that is. I had to do this to track down a lean release. But I dont know, maybe you have that covered. That bothers me though, not knowing what number you are.

tell me about it, but ya i called the dealer they only keep the info for 10 years aka they just got rid of it...but i did get in contact with the 1st owner, he lost the certifacate and dosnt remember what number it was
