I got a great deal on a set of custom made Borla axle back mufflers and a Spectre CAI from another G8 owner. The mufflers have the stock tips welded on them and the CAI has a 9" K&N that's located down below the drivers headlight. The Borla's have a nice deep tone to them, and my car definitely has a lot more power now. Here's some pics and videos for all to see.

Here's a video at idle and with some revs. It's pretty quiet at idle until I rev it up. (The noise you hear at idle is the wind blowing)

Yeah the CAI and tune really woke the car up, and that was only on 89 octane. In a couple weeks Superchips will be releasing a 93 octane tune for the G8. So it will have even more power than that!

Mike I have never seen WH cops west of Lewis on Ninth street, it's out of their jurisdiction. I don't think that's Zion either, it's probably considered County.

Dave I'll try hard to obey the law, but as you can see it's not easy with all this power. Besides I'm more into feeling the power while accelerating than going way over the speed limit. I want to have my license when it's time to break out the Harley!

Charles it sounds even better in the car than in the video, but it does drone at certain RPM's. Since I don't drive for hours on the highway I disabled AFM, so it's not that bad. Plus I use manual mode a lot because it shifts quicker with the tune now.

Rick it was more than a little, the traction control light came on.
