i hope this isnt a dumb question b/c i honestly dunno the answer. i have a 98 gt. and im curious since my car isnt s/c and i have the basic info center, can i get a gtp info center and wire it to the turbo to show how much boost im getting or would it be better off to just have an a-pillar mount with other guages like water, pressure or w/e???

I am not sure about your DIC question as I have a 2004. I can tell you for sure that IMHO any turbo setup needs to be running a wideband. Since that is the case I would run a autometer boost gauge to keep good track of where your at.

Can you add a hud gauge pod? That would look more stockish.

Thanks :)

tehe he he.....

but our boost gauge on my car at least (its a 98 gtp) dosn't read PSI its a bunch of bars, more gas more bars. ive heard hooking into the OBD II adapter and it tells you which ive been in every part of my computer with a scan tool and saw nothing. so hooking GTP stuff up i dont think would work

ok ill look around. but if not, im wondering if the boost gauge works the same way as the s/c gauge, faster it spins the more lines build up on the info display or w/e. i kinda like that though, but ill look for the hud.

im not entirely sure that would work but dont quote me on that. i know to hook up an actual gauge to the supercharger you use a vacume line under the S/C just if you go turbo buy a boost gauge and get a threaded valve and hook a line up to it and run it into your car and get a gauge

You can easily swap DIC's from one to the other. There is a write up on CGP.

Also you don't need a wideband but it is a great tool to have just in case and awesome for tuning.

If all you want to do is keep it looking stock I hid my Boost gauge in the change holder area for a while lol.

However with the new build I moved to pillar pod since I need a wideband for 22psi and a few other gauges.

Don't mind the driveway we were extending it. You can see my winter beater in that pic and my neighbors ugly ass brown house lol
