Unplugging any of the wheel sensors will disable the ABS. My ABS was acting up because of a wire short. I unplugged the sensor on the front driver's side all that shut down the ABS.

...the tranny chain can only handle 450 hp!!! Unless u got the GM racing chain. Stamma stage 2 was enough. Stage 3 is overkill, lol

-- 4:01pm Jan/22/2010 --

Oh ya just remember... I think u also may need the aftermarket balancer that ZZP sells, just read the describtion

Rodman, let me know how it goes... I am putting Stage 3 heads in the car once it warms up.. Also have a stage 3 cam in there, which I haven't been able to play with yet.... Hopefully it'll be a blast, but still gotta fix that overdrive issue with the transmission. Something is short to ground somewhere, still haven't found it... MR GOODWRENCH is looking like the place to go when the time comes... I just can't swallow the $108/hr labour rate with tax.

Sure...everthing arrived thursday but all the gaskets weren't in so its going to happen on the weekend...not sure if you read the other post but while i was dyno tuning at 4500rmp it was falling on its face it made 300whp @ 4500rpm then hit hit a wall thats the reason for the heads and 130 springs dr timing and st3 cam

Yes, I read through that yesterday so I decided to post a response. I am more or less in the same boat, so anything you learn would help me in some way, since there aren't that many of us with 04s doing this scenario. I think there are three now that I know of on here.

So, if that solves the problem, that's good stuff. I haven't driven the car since all the mods, so I have no idea if I was encountering the same problem. I do know that there is some sort of vaccuum leak, when it boosts a bit I get a high pitched chatter, possibly from the lines running to the boost gauges, etc.. Just never had time to figure it out since there was other stuff pending. I'm sure I have more to repair than what I know of at this moment....

Break in period for 500 kms...althought when were doing all this found some rods with dings on them as well as the rockers with dings on the back side...thats why the new 3/8's rods and cant sell the er rockers .....thats what you get for running them on boosted application.....neeeds about 2 hours in car tuning then dyno time

^^ Video's never do any justice

You found dings/marks on the new push-rods, or the stockers? Sorry if I misunderstood! I put ZZP 5/16 rods in, but I haven't really driven the car yet... =/ Transmission problems suck.
