Remove the bolts holding your dogbones (which will allow you to rock your engine forward) and then place a 2x4 piece of wood between the alternator and the firewall to hold the engine form moving back. That should give you all the room needed to move your hands around back there. Time frame will depend entirely around the mechanics abilities and other things like rusty manifold bolts etc. PB or WD40 the bolts the night before and you could do the rear mani in an hour and a half to two hours max
