Need some help figuring out a problem..
So to start out i went up to tuners to tune the car, and everything was going awesome. had it tuned to 8/9 pounds (has 10 pound spring in the wastegate). so we got the car tuned but it kept going lean then going rich about every other full throttle run. well come to find out the plate i made came apart (GEN V and didnt know of anyone that made one). so came home and ordered a new blockoff plate got that put on and fixed.
So now sometimes (depending on temp outside) it runs 11.2-11.4's as long as its 46* and below on the wideband. if its above 46* it runs lean around the 14's or more (wideband). and sometimes surges on the vac/boost gauge. Then seems to want to cutoff. so i'll cut the car off let it set for a split second then cut the car right back on and it runs perfect.
checked the compression all cylinders were 142-149. just put new plugs in it running autolite 103's at 37 gap (being i was going to run more boost). checked all lines for a vacuum leak nothing. Is it sometimes internal? Or is it just because we were trying to tune the non metered air flowing in and now that its not its not learning what to run? and the tune will fix it?
Thanks in advance
Also i have the MAP sensor and is their a plug its supposed to go into or just for fresh air?
