Thanks guys...its step by step for sure...i think there was an older GTP like a 98 or something that did a rearmount...thats the only one i have ever seen though...there still is no kit for this car or any GP's in general...so I know im the first LS4 rear mount and GXP in the community or world..LOL but Idk if im the only rear mounted GP right now...there are some others out there im sure...

Speed bumps....not an issue if you do the low rider angle on them LOL...but im prob a good 2" from the ground from the lowest spot on the charge...Ive scrapped 4 times....I can literally count them! and 2 of them were in the same spot! LOL...

Thanks for the support guys....and as far as I know im the only one that has documented a RM build on a GP or GXP LOL...making some history! now for the world book of records!! First RM turbo LS4 to run XX.XX @ XXXmph!! lol

Intense was talking about building rear mount setups a few years back and the one RM GP I know of was from them. They seemed to have given up on the 3800 community for the most part though.

Kind of curious Ross - is it possible to do a Twin Rear mounted turbo? From the looks of the mounting it could be possible just not sure on the performance.

Yup...multiply everything by 2! includes weight and problems...lol its sad to say but, with a rear mount setup...that whole other set of pump lines and a whole other pump...STS has some great setups but, thats on some really big motors too...single turbo is enough for me...LOL..but wow...we thought about it trust!! problem is..no matter what...couldnt get the turbos to perform the same....atleast was in our research...and my displacement would be some overkill lol but it can be done...

Thats what I was afraid of but at least you did the research and was willing to attempt. I only wish there was enough room in the engine bay for a twin setup. But like to say 1 is awesome and has alot of potential, and with the correct mods and engine upgrades it can go further.
