Ben running his mouth again.........

go back to your trailer and shut the kcuf up, looser.

back on topic, have you looked into a Mezeire (sp?) billet flexplate? there are several of the faster GP's that have beating the crap out of them for years with no complaint.

That's the one. Nice amount of change to drop on just a flexplate but it's certainly a nice insurance policy for your trans. Probably one of the few parts I would actually buy from ZZP

Rodman, what are you running in the car other than the turbo? I haven't considered buying a flexplate like this, since I thought it was only needed for totally over the top builds (500WHP+).
Also kinda thought this would be a drag-car specific type part... Since 500WHP isn't reasonable as a daily driver....

Let me know, curious... Thanks

Ah I see... I have a custom grind stage2/3 cam and P&P heads going in with the rebuild. Been sitting on it for a while, may as well complete it. I'm running a 2.5" exhaust setup, since a 3" wasn't economical after doing the 2.5 upgrade for the supercharged setup.. I pulled my rockers since I have to use stock ones now.... It never ends huh... I had the trans done, but I am not even sure if it's working right after all the bullshit.

Good luck with the build! Draw the line somewhere.. LOL

I hear ya ...i drew the line with 7/8 chain so i dont want to go past 450whp...considered aluminum heads for the weight reduction and high boost application...it's possable but the cam u chase timing chain ,springs, vales, tuning yikes!!!

1st off what type of 7/8ths chain? Rocker or Roller?

You weak link is the 7/8th chain. Here is the thing both the 7/8ths and the 15/16ths are going to break. Its not a question of if its when. Because it WILL break. You can break a 7/8ths with under 300whp even if you only run 10psi you can break that chain. I would watch myself when running D/R's or Slicks.

You want 450whp? What engine work? Just rockers and an Hv3? How much boost do you plan on running? I'm just saying because ST4 cam with 18psi and all the supporting mods made 430whp so I want to see how you are going to make 450whp off rockers and a UD pulley.

And there is nothing wrong with a 500whp daily :P

Ya but there is always other circumstances to that.

A stock GTP trans is good for 13's continuous. Well what about if you E/T in the 13's and trap 125mph? Then they are saying as long as you run 13's it wont break which is a lie because if you are trapping 125mph then you are making mid to high 400whp. lmao

I'm just saying Ive seen chains break on mid hp cars and I just like to give warning lol.

Did you buy that flexplate? I spent more than that and I didn't get the flex.. Sadly.
Will be putting the ZZP pan on at some point, looks kinda cool... Probably wait until the car is back together since it's easier to get at mounted on the cradle.
