What year is your GP? Do you have to have aftermarket headers for it to "bolt-on" ?

I have an 04 GP and I had them send there manifolds which are just reworked stock ones. And im pretty sure that it just bolts on even with stock headers. That is if you consider 13 hours bolt on

One of the best investments I made was the turbo upgrade. Congrats on the build.

Yea Rodman I just read your post and that sucks big time, but hey its just an excuse to build a faster car. I really hope it doesn't happen to me cause I had to work all summer just to save for it and now that im back in school i can't afford that kind of thing.

Same here I do feel terrible about what happened to Rodman also but it was not the Turbo's fault (get shot and put the gun in jail?). The motor would of let go just the same if he would of done a M90 top swap, as the turbo is even more efficient then a blower. If properly installed and tuned should get the same if not more years out of a turbo setup then M90 setup. Been on two long distance trips, the my car is used a daily driver and no issues unlike before with a small pulley / Intercooler. (belt slip, Intermittent KR, vacuum leak etc.)

Yea best advice I could give is take it to a shop that has experience working with turbos. I was lucky enough to find a guy in our small town that runs a twin turbo drag car and they took care of everything. Thanks to Ray and his team at Pauls customs hopefully the boost controller will be in with dyno runs to follow in november!!

At which RPM does this turbo spool? The PT-61 is around 2600RPM.... so I am curious!

Bigger turbo = longer to spool? ie; powerband?

right at 3000 its making full boost and yea rodman i agree that the tune can be more important than the install but going with someone who is very good at what they do helps work out any bugs and I will be going to a dyno sometime in November so i can give more exact specs on the powerband
