I was wondering if i could benefit to a tune.
I really dont plan on any other mods for a while.. i starting to build a motor on the side and im not rushing building it.

Besides that i have a k&n cold air, front and rear ported manifolds, a 3in dp with a cutout in the mail, an a 3in cat back.
really want fan turn ons sooner so i can use a 180 threm. higher shift points and some Kr issues tweaked.. im only seeing it right before it shifts, or when its in 4th on a slight incline or mild acceleration with no downshift highest it goes is about 5* for a split sec.. also have 605's gapped at 55 if i remember correctly craigtp would know he helped xD

anyways i have an extra 04 compg pcm to tune ?

Any car will benefit. I'd be careful bringing shift points up to much. On a basically stock engine, turning anything over 6000 is pointless. But, the fan turn on, and line pressures, and things like that are a big deal.

Not in power though. Wont make it any faster lol. Its just better on the clutch packs and feels awesome.

I'd wager there is a good 15-25hp left on the table in the engine tune on a STOCK engine. Driveability will improve, mileage will improve, and yes, power will increase on a dead stock engine. Any breathing mods will only make it better.

Yeah stock tuning is still pretty conservative and you can free up a couple ponies with just a tune. On the whole though, the trans settings is really going to make things "feel faster."
