I have an 01 gtp special edition black with a aftermarket pcm and will read and scan my car and pull the readings just fine. My buddy has a 01 gtp special edition silver (corey) with a DHP/PCM and it wont even let me pull any scan info. i can pull his bin but it wont read engine info from the PCM. the DHP is unlocked. Any ideas on what the problem could be>?

are you and/or corey sure the pcm is unlocked? cause it sounds like its not. otherwise you would be able to read and write to it.

i pulled his bin off his pcm and i have tried pulling a VIN off a locked pcm and it wouldnt allow it and i pulled (corey's) just fine. And corey also said then pcm came with a slip of paper saying it was unlocked the PCM isnt but a year old

thats really wierd..i dont know what t think. my pcm was supposedly locked and it definately isnt, lol.

i know we both are stumped on it. its almost like his OBDII port is junk but i can pull is bin just fine!! I dont man it would be nice to scan his car so he can start upgrading it but who knows i guess i have a post on powrtuner as well seeing if anyone has seen this issue before.
