So my buddy and I have been trying to clean up zzp's tune on my car. I know that we have a lot more work to do, but I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or insights for us.
thanks,
p.s. I think that it may be time for injectors. inj. duty cycle got up to 121% I believe.

Get the tune right first. I had headroom still with factory injectors on similiar mods as you. I didn't know it at the time, because I added fuel to get rid of KR. Little did I know that removing fuel can do the same thing, since being TOO rich will cause KR, too.

OK, so what is "off" with the tune. What do I need to correct? Where to start?

I just went and looked at it again...it may be better than I thought. Those O2 levels indicate LEAN. But, the KR level and timing is decent. Maybe the ported blower helps more than I thought it would.

I would do injectors for certain, you're way past static. What size pulley are you running on the blower?

4'' seems a bit extreme, i mean if it's best for the car i can understand it. but i think you can clean up the tune enough to make it work. i need injectors, also. i see a trend!

The higher compression of the L36 almost dictates it, if you haven't done a lot of stuff to make the engine breathe better. He's got a P&P blower, TB, and LQ4 MAF over me, and I was pushin' it to run a 3.4". I would bet that a 4" pulley versus a 3.8" pulley, no power to the wheels will be lost.

What would the benefit of running a 4''? I see them used on ssm90's but not really on top swaps. The only thing I can think of would maybe adding ore timing. I am boosting under 8 lbs I iirc.

Yeah, less boost, for less KR and/or more timing.

i had a simialr problem with the duty cycle. I put a GTP fuel pump in and my problems went away. I run the 3.8" as well.

Yeah I already threw in a gtp fuel pump and a "high flow" fuel filter about a month ago.

just throwing this out there, but considering you live in chicago, i'd wait til spring/summer when it's warmer to "perfect" your tune.. other wise it'll have to be done again since it's probably cold there now (like in SD).. just a thought... but i'd say from your scan, the car looks easily driveable without being beaten on.. but then again i dont know a whole lot about tuning either..

if i'm way off base, ignore me.. :D lol
