If you plan to tune your "07" you will need a 05 pcm before you start doing anything to it. Then write your VIN# from your car to that "05" pcm to make sure your security still works....and being electronic TB. 3inch will be just fine.

Ditto on 3 inch. 4 inch is just overkill since it's larger than the TB. The PCM will help bump up the ponies a little, but not a ton since it's an N/A engine, however, the torque management, fan settings, shift points, and such will help things out too so raw HP isn't the only benefit.

Okay, HV3 is a good choice, headers and Jet Chips MAF are not a good choice. Headers on an N/A car will actually hurt your low end torque and not really help your high end HP so it's not worth it in the performance department epecially when the HV3 will also take away a little low end torque however, it will add quite a bit on the top end. N/A car need backpressure to make power so opening up the exhaust isn't the way to go unless you're boosted or have some major mods on that N/A heads. Replacing the res with a glasspack is a good choice though. I myself have done that and have no complaints what so ever and for the price you can't beat it. The MAF by Jet performance will just mess things up. There is no power in the "power-flo" epscially not the 10HP thier site claims. The stock MAF is more than enough to do the job and isn't going to restrict airflow in any way (i.e. go look at members making big HP, most are still running stock MAFs) and the aftermarket MAF will just screw with your tune and AFR tables since the sensor is different than the stock one thus the information going to the PCM could be different. A real tune will help you more than anything from Jet Performance. MSDs..... well I've seen guys run them but in all honesty, the stock coils are actually pretty good apart from the usual failure that comes with age, but they are enough to still make power on especially since you're not boosted so save your money and keep the stock ones. ZZP wires seem like a good choice.

So...
HV3 = Yes
Jet Chips MAF = NO!!!!!!!
Headers = NO!!!!!
MSD = if you really have a money burning a hole in your wallet knock yourself out
Res replacement = yes
High flow cat = sure

Hope that clears some things up.

Why the heck has Jet Performance been brought up twice this week anyhow? Their stuff is a bunch of crap. In the other thread its mentioned that thier "chip" made a whole whopping 1HP more over stock. An ambient temp difference of 10-20 degrees would make that much of a HP improvement.
