stock is where it should be

if you get your car tunned the first thing to be done is change the shift points and raise the pressure which is what tech performance shift button did

which kit did you install?

ZZP shift kit. i didn't change the sizes i did what they recomended. i tuned it down to stock and then raised it 5%. so now it should be at like ~92.6 which i think should be fine?? it still isn't neck breaking shifts, but it did improve the speed of the shift.

i was satisfied with my shift kit....nice firm and smooth. people always ask me...is that normal to shift that hard???

its something to think about

i've heard the spring will give you a tighter shift from 1st to second

depending on the shift kit you buy you dont get springs anymore. i put both shims in for 1st and second gear along with the harder springs.

the hardest part and the messiest part is draining the fluid because you dont want to bend your panor get fluid all over the place

that is why you drain it by loosening the passenger side bolts first then working your way to the drivers. not too hard. i put my shift kit in in a little over an hour.

yea i know...its a very time consuming thing to do to drain the fluid...i mean its not hard but compared to the rest of the project its the hardest and messiest part. especialy being once i got mine back together i found another accumulator bolt on the ground so i had to REDO it

you can get your own shift kit w/ spring from teh dealer for 15 bux

all you need is the parts number

i'm sorry but charging double if not triple for the same thing the dealer has is ridiculous

drop the pan

remove the filter

remove the 9 accumulator bolts

dont bend the trans lines connected to the accumulator

install shims on center the 2 center shafts

reinstall accumulator

torque to specs

clean trans pan surface and magent

reinstall

torque to specs

i know its lame but theres not much to the install lol
