Not sure which forum this should go in, so I'll try here.

First off, let me say that I'm definitely NOT a tuner. I wouldn't know KR from KFC. My '04 Comp G is fast enough as it is, so I'm not looking to get anything to increase its performance.

However:

I don't like the measly gauges in the car. Yeah, I know the DIC gives a bit more info than the dash, but I think it'd be cool to have a dedicated boost gauge, maybe one for KR, EGT, etc...

I've seen the Aeroforce one at ZZP. It's plug and play on the diagnostic port, but I'm not liking the basic round housing.

So, here's the question: What's available for our cars that A) is plug and play B) looks different and C) is small enough to be mounted somewhere cool on the dash (maybe at the bottom of the gauge cluster or along the top of the gauge surround).

Thanks!

Mike

Do you plan on doing a gauge pod or dash setup?

I'm thinking of something on the dash like this (Either the round ones at the base of the gauge cluster or something long and rectangular up above the cowl.. one or the other, not both.)

Sorry for the cheapo photoshop! LOL

Thats a bit differn't, not my taste but its what you want. So you are wanted to mouint it ontop of the dash right? Im having trouble figuring out where you want the guages at?.

I think the pillar guard pod looks really good, maybe you should look into that.

I got a 3 gauge pillar from ZZP. I have 3 gauges (boost, water temp, and a/f ratio) i got carbonfiber style so they'd match the rest of the setup for the most part. waaay worth the extra money. an aeroforce gauge would be sweet to have, but expensive. you can always put 1 or 2 gauges in that little compartment by the shifter/below the temp control stuff. when/if i get an aeroforce, that's where mine is going. just get like a sheet of carbon fiber and mount it in there.

Similar to the aeroforce but can display up to seven paramiters at once and basicly has all the same features.

Yeah, we have more air vents than we know what to do with. There are 3 on the drivers side, that one in the middle, and then another 2 or 4 (I'm never on the passenger side, haha) on that side... I don't think we have any in the back..

Now, I'd like to trade some airvents for cupholders....
