My buddy (dthreap) and I bought a DHP tuner off of someone we know for a relatively low price. DHP is no longer in business but there is still quite a bit of support for it on tuning websites. If you're new at it, I'd go with the HP tuners, a lot more support for them, and a lot easier to tune your car.

The only problem I have with ZZP is they delete a lot of the torque management, more then I'd be comfortable with changing. Other then that it's not bad, my shift points and pressures are based off a zzp tune.

DHP is nice but I plan to some day get the HP Tuners suite. HP is a lot more polished and user friendly.

Technincally HPT and DHP will do that and box tunes like the ZZP 1.0 PCM will have that stuff already changed. And in HPT, one car costs 2 credits, 1 credit being 50 dollars each or something like that, but once the car is registered you can changed whatever you want however often you want. I personally use a friend's HPT to do my stuff and I really like the user interface, but I haven't used DHP yet so I dont' have anything to relate the 2. If you do buy HPT new it comes with 8 credits though so enough to do 4 different cars and if you ever need more just purchase more at the mentioned price.

HPT also has a pretty big forum that is very helpful, most of the time, with any problems and tuning questions you might have.
