Hi. I am looking for the best dyno tuner available in my general area. Willing to travel up to 60 miles or so away... Besides ZZ Performance, who else does everyone recommend in the Midwest/Northwest Indiana Area? Please advise.

Paul said he does not do dyno tunes, just mainly street tunes. What exactly is the process for street tunes and how do they compare to full blown dyno tuning?

street tune is exactly how it sounds. tuned to be driven on the street.

IMO a street tune is better than a dyno I had Intense Dyno tune my car took it to the track ran a 14.20 and then had Paul street tune the car and ran a 13.79 I am now running in the 12's on a street tune from Paul and hope to have it in the 11's this year will I hit the dyno prolly just to see the numbers but not for a tune

I have spent thousands of dollars with Paul over the past few years from my trans build to the motor build you have to ask him pricing and as the tune goes he hooks up his laptop and then u go for a ride and he scans the car and makes adjustments as u go. I usually leave my car with him for a day or two but I know not everyone can do that I would plan on spending a day with him for a good tune he knows his stuff

Sounds like the street tune is more based on transmission tuning than maximum horsepower for the engine. I already have my transmission tuned using my HPTuners, so maybe an engine dyno would be best for my engine tuning...

well I guess if reading the O2's and the fuel trims is tuning the trans then your best bet is zzp or intense racing for the Dyno Tune your seeking but I know from experince that I made more power and was faster in the 1/4 with PRJ'S street tune versus Intense's Dyno tune Good Luck

we are meeting at my apartment off of 74 in brownsburg for burgers, brats, hotdogs and tuning. then who knows, we've talked about all driving to eagle creek park 5 minutes away and taking pictures before it gets dark then going cruising. Probably getting into trouble that night lol. Everybody is of drinking age and I have 3 bars in walking distance of my place. there will only probably be 6 or 7 cobalts, my gxp will be there, a mustang cobra, a cavy, my brother's 96 t-bird and probably a couple monte's and grand prixs should be a good time, we'll be able to mob out the highway for sure.
