I know there's another thread about running lean... but my story is diff lol
My car lately has been creeping slowly from running good 0.0 to back to 16.4
It just creeps slowly, i do the trim reset by unpluging for half an hour and the 2x10 min drives... and the car locks at 0.0 for a good day or 2 then with in a week it starts creeping up back slowly to 16.4.... I just checked right now for vacuum leaks by spraying soap all over the places and i got nothin... so any ideas?
code p0171 shows up often too... i cleaned the maf and nothin...

Thanks

disconnect your maf sensor and if it runs better then its the sensor, that was the problem with my car and also my overkilled pcm was tuned wrong so both was making me run lean, after replacing the maf sensor i had to replace the brand new o2 sensor it was chard white from the faulty maf sensor pushing through more gas then needed

it runs great now

I did that and didn't seem to make any difference, i think i was just too pissed off to note the difference lol
wat i did is that i got a new tune, from a guy i met on another forum, and ofcourse Overkill screwed up my PCM too, he had the wrong MAF tables, wrong injector values and he never answers his damn emails.
So I got a whole new tune and it runs better now

I got the base tune from Dan and he sent me a "how to" on VE and MAF tuning, so I'm gona give it a try my self and c how that goes, it doesnt look too bad, its just time consuming, and considering there's about 80*C difference between summer and winter, im gona have to have a few tunes lol
