so my last tune was when we took 2* of timing away and added a bunch of fuel so i could run the 3.4 without knock. i had all the mods i have now, except the 180* thermo and the rockers (springs and pushrods too).

so if im thinking this through correctly, im running 2* less timing than i would be with the zzp 1,0 standard wot timing table, and i probabaly could add more than 2* back at this point..

how bad is this hindering the car's power? i know lots of timing on a big pulley is better than none on a small one..

You can never say for sure. I've heard the estimate that 1* of timing is about 3 or 4 hp, assuming that the ZZP timing is ideal, you'd be losing roughly 6 to 8 hp there in timing. Sometimes people get overenthusiastic about adding timing (and I wouldn't put it past ZZP) so you can't say for sure. Possibly taking out a degree or two might actually help, IDK.

Since you had to dump in a bunch more fuel, that will cost you power too. Gasoline engines have an ideal air/fuel ratio for making maximum power. IIRC supercharged motors are best around 12:1. So if you are a lot richer, you will not be making optimum power. How much loss? I have no idea, and it depends on how far off you actually are.
