As it say i have a overkill pcm for my 07 gt it is a 05 gtp i am having problems. LACK OF POWER it just seems to die take for every to go trough first i got raped by a cobalt ss and he spun trough first and second it took me a half mile to hit 150km (93) mph. But i reset it and it find for a day or so then gets bad again. any one else have this problem? I wish i had a scanner but don't hopefully soon i will and see whats going on!

best advice i can give you is to contact Will and let him know what the problem is. On a side note... why an 07 GT PCM in a 05 GTP? Im not too farmiliar with which pcms work for what so forgive my ignorance if this is a common thing.

Otehr way around, Paul. I believe the 06+ were a CAN Bus protocol, and up to 05 were all simply standard OBD2. The CAN Bus systems can't easily be tuned, so PCMs from previous years are used in order to tune. I forget who it was that did it, but it was someone on this forum.

IF its for a gt the boost section is not configured in the PCM....i have put a GT bin on a GTP and it read no boost and lack of power and runs horrible. I bet they configured it for a non-supercharged car. just my thoughts

07 gt is supercharged and it was running good last year and took it out for winter and some warranty work now it runs good for a little and then crappy and have to reset it all the time
