I recently bought a used pcm from someone and had it shipped here It was off of a 02 GTP and I was told It would run fine in a 98 GTP like mine, My mods are autolite iridium plugs, 180 thermostat, resonator delete, tranny cooler and a drop in K&N filter. I installed It and took it for a drive other than my cars fan failure it ran fine, It overheats big time, if I turn on my A/C my fans will kick on like they are supposed to. I am so frustrated I wasted money on a pcm that wont work and the guy just tells me to take it to a dealer and do a case learn, after I simply offered to ship it back to him and let him reprogram it, cause he says he can flash the DHP 1.0 file. Can someone help me out that has experience so I wont end up pulling my hair out. oh and just for extra info he said he would put my vin it to, I gave it to him and supposedly he did.

Unrelated to fan question: You're supercharged, I'd recommend ditching the Iridiums for a set of Autolite Copper core 605s. The Iridium retains a lot of heat due to a higher specific heat (anyone care to Google the exact specific heats of copper and iridium for me?) thus causing detonation.

The fans sound like they're set up wrong. Sounds like you'll need a reprogram on your PCM.
