I just got done installing the 1.5 .bin file that I get from GMv6pcm.com and now i have 3 thrown codes.

P0410
P0412 (I think)
P0418

What do they mean? I didn't have them until i installed the 1.5. How do i fix them? I already Cleared the DTC codes and they came back. Any other information would be great. If you need me to post the file please tell me how.

TIA
Ryan

depending what year that bin is for, they may not be applicable to your car.

p0412 - secondary air injection

blah, looked up the other two, they are all for secondary air injection.

delete the codes from your pcm, you dont have that on yours

The 1.5 file is just as starter file. Are you planning on expanding on it or are you just leaving it as is?

Other than the basic fan, torque, limiters & tranny settings, there's not must more in the 1.5 file. The rest has to be done by you.

Just delete those codes.......Better yet, only set them to no reporting...There are 2 tables, one for enable/disable codes, the other for the reporting type.

You only need to set the reporting type to 3 (IIRC)....Should be no reporting, you can still keep the code enabled... I like it this way, especially if you have computer OBD inspections, even though those codes don't matter

You want to hurry and do a VE then MAF and IFR tune........A base 1.5 file will make you run rich as hell and probably lose 20% gas mileage (I did for a few weeks until I actually got to tuning lol)

He doesn't need it........Just tell him to download the one in your car........This is making me nervous, if he knew what he was doing, he would just pull the one from your car
