I was driving to a friends house to pick up a scan gauge, an car drove fine. I get there an hook it up to make sure it worked on my car... it was set up with some diesel paramiters. So I figured I screw with it when I got home. So I left with it still hooked up and left the neighbor hood an took off in drive and starts slipping outta the blue an into every gear..I unplugged it an continues. I get home and take the neg off the batt. For a couple min an still does it. Ill be dropping it off at the dealership tommorow morning unless poof its fixed ughh

That's really weird. Does it just do it in drive, or if you manually shift too?

I'm not familiar with scan gauges, but what do you mean it had diesel parameters on it? Is there something that does tunes through those? Or is it just a noninvasive scanner like your mechanic's scan tool?

I guess worst comes to worst (if you wanna check it before trucking it to the dealer) drop the pan and check for shavings?

its just an aeroforce gauge.. just monitors junk. It does it in both drive an manual. it wont up shift unless i let off a bit or itll stay in that gear while in drive.

I guess just coincidence? You didn't notice any issues until all of a sudden?

I find it weird though that it was fine until the gauge was hooked up. Don't see how it would correlate, but still.
