Ive noticed 2-3 times some weird trans temps, but only after a hard launch. I know, trans temp goes up after this.. but i have my dic with trans temp and watching it on my scan gauge, for the difference. but both numbers start bouncing around a 10deg. differences and then the huge diff my scan gauge says like 1400 or some ridiculous number an my dic goes to -38

ive unpluged the gauge an had the car shut off and started it with out it plugged in an is fine, did some sprited driving goes up normally so i park shut it off plug it back in an it normal idk.. i have a 2.4 interceptor if that helps should i get a newer

nope, only launched once an any other time ive just gotten on it. Its a new trans of last week.. already have 800 miles on it so i decided to see how the new one felt an this happens o.0

Is it from the same year car? a sensor or something may not be reading correctly.

I just got my transmission in as well lol. My temps are "normal", I get 150 generally in 32 degree weather (maybe a bit too hight?) this is not going WOT. Haven't had any issues with a sensor being off. I would totally make sure your tapshift works and that you got correct tranny, maybe you got a regular gt/p tranny (instead of comp g)?

in the 20-30 degree celcius weather, its quite a bit lower in the winter time.

Ben your trans temps seem fine. Kyle if your trans was at 1400 deg you wouldnt be moving, it would literally last 1 secons lol. Call up who installed your trans and let them know.

No I know that's what I'm saying. It sounds like something is wrong electronically, like a sensor reading wrong or something. There's no way his trans is running at 1400*.
