Your best bet is to contact zzp or intense for a beefed up tranny, probably save money that was as well and all you have to do is pay someone to install it straight from them.

I thought the 15/16th chain was good for 450whp.... the 1" chain is like $1,000 USD, and that's if you can find one.

I'm going to be doing mine in the spring, so far I have the following items:

300M Input Shaft
3.29 gear set w/ 15/16th chain
3500 stall torque converter
4th hardened cluth shaft

Let me know if you find any other information... I was going to have the clutch packs replaced, and that was going to be it. I didn't install the ZZP shift kit since it looks like a waste of time, and I get enough kick out of the poly motor mounts.

4340 input shaft (300M is for really big builds up to 1000HP)
245mm Torque Converter- 3500
HD upgrade w/ stage 1 axles
3.29 gear set w/ 15/16th chain
4th hardened cluth shaft

When ever I plan to hook up the engine- I gotta save up like 10K to get everything in period. I don't want any problem in my daily driver car.

The 15/16 is a good chain. Like was said, good luck finding a 1" chain. Im pretty sure GM quit making them so your gonna have trouble finding a brand new one unless another company decides to buy the design.

Triple Edge Performance is definately a guy to get good trannys from. PRJ also has some nice trannys as well. I would talk to both of them.
