Wow, didn't mean to open a can of worms... I was just looking for some assistance. Thanks for your input guys (well, most of you). Dave, I will be placing an order sometime soon, I just need to figure out something for shipping.

You didn't, you're just trying to get accurate, reliable info. Ben, however, is a moron who spews useless, incorrect information on every forum he trolls around. To the OP and anyone else who isn't familiar with this guy, disregard this jackass. Dave is a well-known and TRUSTED vendor within the GP community and there are countless customers that have had nothing but good things to say about Dave and the work he performs. I wish I had the $$ or the luxury of saying that I have had Dave work on my trans, but sadly i haven't. Anyone who has should consider themselves lucky to have been in the presence of such a knowledgeable guy. I also have never done business with Dave, but i know what ive seen with my own eyes and have seen the numerous posts praising dave and his work. You got a lotta nerve Ben; do yourself and everyone else a favor and stick to the salvage yards n00b

DO NOT DEAL WITH HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I've heard and saw from his posting on another board is that he doesn't know his arse from a hole in the ground. I've caught him up in posting many many false information posts about the 4t60e and 4t65e in general. your best bet is go to zzp for the parts. or find them yourself like your doing.

You think Todd and Rick are the only ones you have to worry about??NOBODY respects you or gives you ANY credibility whatsoever. Please sell your car and leave the GP community

I have nothing but good things to say about Dave. He built my fully-built transmission flawlessly from what I can tell. I have had no problems with it at all, the tranny shifts hard and fast and solid, takes the beating I throw at it, haven't had one little leak at all, nothing. He has answered all of my emails within 1 day, hell he even answered one of my emails minutes after I sent it. He is very knowledgeable about everything 3800 and is willing to help, even at HIS cost! Dave is the man...and Ben is just a prick.

Great job Dave, would recommend you to anyone and you will always have my business in my 3800 future.
