I don't seem to be able to get to the bolt that holds it in. I removed it to install headers and now can't get to it. It is in an unaccessible location. I at least got the dipstick tube into the transmission. Anyone have any ideas on how to get to the bolt? My hands are way too big to get to it. I'm tempted to leave it off but I'm afraid I will leak tranny fluid. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Steven

Yea when I replaced my tranny we forgot to bolt this on before we installed it. Was a real bitch to get in. I eventually got it from underneath and used a ratcheting wrench to tighten it.

youre better off installing the tube once the header is in but not bolted down, then working around the tube to install the crossover. thats what we did for mine anyhow..

I'm not running it bolted in right now but I'm a little low on transmission fluid so it doesn't seem to leak, ha ha. I managed to break the bracket off the tube but had to use the car. It fits pretty tight all things considered. I've got a couple ideas on how I may be able to secure it from another location, ;-). I'm going to be driving every weekday for about a month or so and then drive from Louisiana to Washington. Should be a fun drive.
I think I also remember one of the vendors selling a flexible tranny tube but haven't been able to find that. I know about the pre-bent tube from ZZP and the stock one from Intense.
Any help would be appreciated,

Steven

the flexible tube is a lokar tube. you can get it at summit racing iirc. its a little on the pricey side.
