Welp, we have a problem guys. I was on my way back to Mankato tonight in the GTP and everything was running great. I was actually surprised at how smooth the car was running/driving. Here's the bad part, as I was slowing down for my exit I started to hear a grinding sound, it appeared to get louder/more intense the more I slowed down. When I got to around 20 mph, it started to clunk. When I crept down to around 5-10 mph, the car locked up. I put it in 1st and I went about 2 feet before it locked up again. Every gear except Reverse is locking up. We tried towing it, but neutral locked up too. It's probably worth mentioning that only the front right wheel is struck. The front left was spinning when we had to drag it off the road. I had it brought to Aamco and I have to give them a call in the morning.

What do ya think, guys?

Sounds like the shaft may have snapped - Would make sense due to every gear is locking up - If the shaft has snapped the gear bands are pulling to separate shafts and would cause the lock up.

shit man, I hope you get this figured out. What are you going to do? Replace the trans with a used stocker or rebuild/buy a built trans?

I'm guessing the OP has already had it fixed, since the thread is over two months old. ;-)
