so i just installed my TOGs and i think i might've played around a little too much with the dip stick which caused a tranny fluid leak all over my garage floor... so is there a getle/r way to bend that stick or am i better off just buying a prebent one from zzp because this one i doont think i can get it to seal as good as its supposed to be and i really dont want to have any tranny leaks goin on...

r there some kinda seals around it where it goes into the tranny?

Thanks

Why buy something sensible with a RWD setup when you can build something really stupid, like this

Not sure, is it cracked or is it just that nasty pinch in it?

I would go ahead and just get a new prebent dipstick tube. better to spend less than $50 on a prebent tube than thousands on a new trans, right? Or having to add tranny fluid every 100 miles or so, that would get old quick

i think i am having the same issue. when i did my headers that damn dip stick was in the way and i moved it now i am smelling a smoke smell when the car is heated at idle . i checked the fluid and it was lower by 1. pt. so i filled it and it still smells like its coming from the trans under the downpipe

I had a similar problem with bending mine around the turbo down pipe. When I jack mine up it leaks just a little bit outta the connection of the tube and the block. I think the best option is a flexable lokar dip stick. That is how I will end up doing mine.

I am using one of these, they are pretty nice and you can relocate your dipstick right beside your ABS module, making it easier to get at.
