I have had my traction control light on since i swapped my engine. Never took out the trans. I hade the code p2761 so when i got my new pcm i had the code deleted. Now i have the code p0741 and my tcc light is still on. Trying to see if anyone has had this issue. Not sure what caused it since the light was not on before i swapped my l26 to a l32. Any help would be great. Thanks

I have that code now that I have rebuilt my transmission. The TCC solenoid isn't engaging converter lockup, or the coverter itself is bad. In my case, the coverter is bad (or so I've been told), so it better be right since I had to order a new ZZP.. The scan tool showed my PCM requesting lockup, so that's why we've determined it's a hardware fault.

I was told there's a way to test on the PCM, by powering one of the pins, it will engage the solenoid and you should hear something audible if it's working. I didn't go that far, since I had a brand new solenoid...

Keep me posted, curious!

Will do thanks. I am going to trace all the wires since it wasn't like that before i did the motor swap. I will keep you posted. It has been raining like a bitch here so when it dries up i will look into it.
