I have a 2005 GT2...due for filter and fluid change. No chance of this guy flushing this puppy...but I wonder what fluid do you guys recommend? I plan to put shift kit in at the same time... (Who wouldn't)

TIA...

Give it some Dexron 6, and call it a day.

DEXRON(R)-VI Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) is the only approved fluid for warranty repairs for General Motors transmissions/transaxles requiring DEXRON(R)-III and/or prior DEXRON(R) transmission fluids.
Pan Removal 7.0L (7.4 Qt)
Overhaul 9.5L (10.0 Qt)
Dry 12.7L (13.4 Qt)

I would probably use the GM fluid, too. I guess it isn't fully synthetic, but still...when it comes from the OE...it's hard to beat.
