Hey guys,
Just had my boot go again on my axle and it sounds pretty bad this time. Just wondering if I'm replacing my axles is it worth it to upgrade to ZZP's stage 2 axles or just go with Stage 1's? Is it worth upgrading them without anything done to the transmission yet?

Anytime you can upgrade with stronger parts and the price difference isn't much it's well worth it. A lot of factory parts are designed for stock power levels which is why they started the GMPP division.

the stage ones are only 20 more than advanced ones iirc and they have no core


so why not

ZZPs stage 1 axles are $89/axle and their Stage 2s are $300 for the pair. They both start with GM cores and according to ZZPs website, the Stage 2s have better internals.

So what does better internals mean? I am curious.

I purchased WBS axles last week and should get them early this week.

I got my axle's together again but I think my balls are squeakin. My balls are lubed real good and with a nice tight seal to prevent any more premature egreasulation on my tranny. Should I just replace these? Axle's at my local Napa are $120 + core. Lets say $550 for stage 2's shipped. What do you guys think?

the white car has a set of axles from a low milage comp-G got them from morad when i built the car. i think they had less then 5,000 miles on them (car was ass packed)
