I've always been told to stick with Dexron VI. The only experience I have with Royal Purple was Manual Trans Fluid... and it was terrible!!!!!!

Stick with Dex VI. Royal Purple isn't anything special.

but when i lifted the car up and noticed that both my inlet and outlet hoses for the trans. where leaking fluid, which would explain the hesitation coming back from advance the last time so now my car is parked until thursday when my hoses come in and my o2 senser will be here tomorrow and thats a whole other story and a ticking sound from the engine AWWWW!!!

Ticking....is it very loud? If it sounds like a sewing machine (your engine) that may be normal, as mine sounds like that being @ 90k miles.

Still sounds like noisey injectors to me.

2nd*

1st - 4th clutch shaft ate itself after installed 4340 input
2nd - I believe the 1-2 shift valves is jammed which is not allowing me to shift to 2nd so I go to 3rd.

:)

Sorry Mr. I can count. The flexplate cracking should at least count for 1/2 a trans rebuild even if it's not trans related.

i get pretty loud ticking at around 1500-2800rpm after that it seems baffled by motor, happened after install of FWI. From what people have been telling me its just the injectors, sounds like dumping rocks into the crankcase, it made me really nervous but the sound hasnt changed and nothings gone wrong in 5k miles so...

The injectors on these engines are crazy loud when they have intakes instead of the stock airbox. Heck even my VW sounds like a diesel just from how noisy it's injectors are.

well i've also been told it could be my valves or lifter's but if it was the injectors which makes sence, pushing more fuel out to balance the a/f ratio because i get up to 19lb/m and the stock injectors can't handle it is this what your saying

they can just fine, even with added airflow your really not bringing in all that much more airflow, stock injectors are fine if thats your only change.

Putting an intake on the car hardly adds more air, and definitely isn't enough to max out the injectors, especially since those injectors will handle way more flow than what's it pushing right now. On a N/A car there is no way for just an intake to push more air into an engine that hasn't even maxed out the stock airbox flow capabilities in the first place. Mostly on N/A cars the intake is just a buttdyno mod and makes you think you're car is making more power due to added noises and slightly perkier throttle response. And just an intake won't mess up your A/F readings so the injectors really aren't changing their flow duty cycles.

What I am saying though, is the stock airbox is baffled and acts as a "muffler" for engine noises and when you remove it and put another intake on it does not muffle those sounds.

You're injectors are just fine, they just get noisy with age, and I'd bet a dollar that if you replace them with new ones, that after they have a few thousand miles on them, they will also start making noise as well

Also tricks the maf sensor. Extra air goes in, maf registers it and tells pcm to richen up a little due to more air going in but wait! Some of that air is coming back out where it came in.

when I was out driving with Jaclyn tonight I listened for the fuel injectors and I could hear them from 15 feet away with the hood closed. Yeah, they are a bit noisy
