from what i have seen on the feiror forms the 282 and 284 are varry close and parts swap over

Yes I did, but you obviously didn't read my post. You said absolutely nothing about why you want to swap a manual transmission in, I was asking because i was curious.

Was curious about a manual because I honestly would like to have a manual more than an automatic.

Raphial, you want a manual in general? Or a manual 97+ Grand Prix? I'd love one of those L67s in manual form. I'd love a RWD L67 but that'll have to wait till I have more money. I wish my Supercharged Monte Carlo that I used to have had been a manual as well but at the time had remotely no knowledge at the time on how to convert it like that.

I believe he's saying he wants to do a manual swap into his GP. Noah did it and figured out a bunch of things that need to be resolved, so Raphial, when you are ready to do your swap, check his thread out.
