That should be a press fit deal with the splines and all. I assume you're referring to the outer CV Joint as a whole?

Well the older style has a snap ring.. I think the newer might have a "c" clip like the inner stubs that go into the tranny..

I see. That part of the axle on my car stayed the same. The inner joint changed, though. I don't remember seeing that on the pics, either.

That is what I used for mine! I'm assuming you have the G6 axles?
