wat is the difference between 97 to 03 transmssions VS 04+!!
can an older tranny be worked to fit an 04+ car?
sorry i dunno anythin about that part of the car! lol

an 03 transmission can be used in an 04+, but a 97-02 cannot be used. I believe the difference is in the valve body.

The 98-02 had an external range switch, 2003 on up have an internal range switch. The harness is also different.
