take the knob off and tape down (or something of the sort) the white plastic piece that goes down

actualy all consol shift autos are like that

colum shift cars half the time do not even need the brakes pressed lol

It should, but if it doesn't have the button, then that post will have to be rigged into pushed down, and what will the shift boot cover?
