Hey fellas, got a question Im tryin to figure out... Ok I just build an engine top to bottom, and Put it in this weekend. Well last weekend on the old motor I was playin around a bit and launched really hard... needless to say I snapped my input shaft... sux, i know, but I got another 2004 comp g tranny from a junkyard, actually helped pull it myself, so I know it came off another 2004 comp g...

So I get it all put together with my new engine, dropped it in yesterday, and go to work on putting everything back together... Heres the problem.... 1st thing I go to re-install, is the tranny lines.. And my lines do not fit the new tranny... My lines are both the same size.. On the tranny, there 2 different sizes. One of my lines fits completely in the whole, not catching any threads, and the other will not even start, its too big...

anyone heard of GM changing the lines some way thru 2004??? I guess my only option is to try and get an adapter??

any thoughts???

That sounds a little weird - Just an idea did the lines get crossed or moved? You stated one is to large and the other is to small - if you switch the lines do they fit? I would also check with Dave at triple edge performance ( http://www.tripleedgeperformance.com/ ). He is a master at the 4t65e and always answers his emails in a timely manner.

Ok thanks.. as far as the lines, the lines are both the same size, its the tranny case threaded holes that the lines go in that are different.
