Might wanna worry about a new tranny before you worry about modding.

you could rebuild it
but you will want to strip it down and check all the components.
this could take alot of time and money

First of all, is the tranny acting up? It may be okay for a while, but it won't hold up to mods. If you want it to last, leave your car stock.
