$500 is really way too much. The subframe connectors for my G8 from BMR were much cheaper. I'd say $300 would be reasonable price. Hell, email them and try to haggle the price down.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to hear that they break all the time since the front mount is completely solid thus abusorbing all energy of potholes, side load, etc into LCA instead of dispersing it and with a constant force/vibration/abuse, that tubing and their welds aren't going to stand a chance IMO.
Just put different bushings and ball joints into stock design LCA and call it a day.

Or go the route that Drunkie did and get modified stock LCA's with poly rear bushing and solid metal front one

^ I believe those were a small run of modified LCA's that some guy did and can only buy them used now. Even the WBodyStore ones just have a HD ball joint and poly rear bushing. It still has the rubber front bushing. The one that wears out the most.

I think eventually it would tear itself apart due to all the movement that the front one takes.

the 99 needs 2 control arms seeing as the bushings and ball joints are bad

but i am not even going to bother with as it does not have much life left. only has 10PSI of oil pressure and the knock is getting worse
