Are you sure about that because I've seen 16 inch torque stars clear c5 corvette calipers...

GXP's use 12.7" rotors vs the Vette setup using 12"

General rule of thumb is rotors size plus 4" is the size wheel you need.

I was hoping you would chime in. :)

Thanks for clarifying Dave.

OP... your answer is: if you want to go the 16 inch route part or all of the year, go with the Vette set up. :)

My factory 10 spoke 17" wheels barely clear in the front, its very close.
You don't need drag radials anyway.

Learn how to launch and get summer performance tires.
I caught 2.1 60's with BALD all seasons and I'm no race car driver.

don't think of them as bald all seasons, think of them as evolving to slicks :P

onto why i kind of revived this thread, of the 4, which would be better for general knowledges sake, and which would cost more as well if ya know, sorry i'm a 100% noob with the suspension handleing brakeing dept,
CTS-V (?)
Corvette (fits 16in rims)
GXP (fits 17in rims)
Impala (fits 16in rims)
(All of them being the whole caliper brake and rotor upgrade of course)
Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong :]

off topic:where would be the approperiate "I'm a noob and am wanting to make car better but don't know WTH i'm doing so i would like to run multiple things covering vast sections of the car from time to time: post go?
