I run 245/45-18's and I am lowered. I did have to roll the fenders. I rolled the inner fender lip all the way up and I don't rub any more.

My wheels are 18x8 with a +35mm offset.

245-45-18 and 235-50-18 will fit perfect without any rubbing. 245-50-18 will give you rubbing issues with the spring perch.

245/45/18 almost fits the exact number specs as the stock tire size of 225/60/16. Its the better choice.

depending on how low you are. 245/40s look best.

245/45 for stock height

I ran 235-50-18 tires on 2 different GP's and never had an issue. Beside you can get the BFG KDWS in that size for $90, which is a great deal for a fantastic tire.

I run the 235/50/18 BFG KDWS

Last year I ran 255/45/18 in rear and 235/50/18 BFG KDW. I did have a little fender rubbing in the rear.

Kyle those tires will fit ok on your car with your new wheels, the 97-03's are basically the same as the 2004 GP's in that aspect. If it's not lowered you won't have a problem with them rubbing.

Tyler I have a nice set of 245-45-18 summer tires for sale here:

Hey Rkelc, are those Nexan N3000 good tires? How long have they last for you?
I saw a couple set's of 4 on ebay for about 300$ and I really need new tires since I just bought some 18" rims.

Anyone know where I can find the 235/50/18 BFG KDWS for 90$?

Thanks guys

I buy my KDWS 18's at www.discounttiredirect.com/

Usually have the best pricing, sometimes free shipping, and great customer service.

I found the BFG KDWS for 91$ a peice. Are these better than the Nexan N3000? Will they last longer?
I am planning on only using these tires in the summer, but I dont want to buy summer tires and change them every year. I am not a crazy drive so basicly I want a long lasting tire, that is also reliable.

I seen on the Discount Tire Direct website that they offer a Certificates for Free Replacement
for BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDWS for 12.50$ per tire. Anyone think thats a good deal? Has anyone ever had all 4 tires blow? Would it be safe to only buy the Certificates for Free Replacement on 1 or 2 tires? Any info its appreciated. Thanks

Dan....
I've have run the NEXEN's for only 6 months and seem to be fine, I like them (even though I haven't driven the car in 3 months).....They seem to grab the road nicely and I also bought them for the tread pattern......

KDWS....

KDW's are not worth it IMO. Mine lasted all of 7500 miles. 2 events and 1 round trip from PA to FL.

Thanks guys, I am going to go with the Nexan. There only 300$ so if I burn through them fast I will just try another brand.
