The price on the hub assembly at auto zone on their website is freakin crazy..

http://www.autozone.com/N,14600894//sho ... ultSet.htm

$98.99 for the "cheap" one and $157.99 for the other one..

I'm guessing that's only for one and not both sides? Need them for the front..

So much for my HU radio I was going to buy off my buddy..

Isn't his stuff used? I'll give him a call, but the shipping of 2 would probably set it over what I would pay at Auto Zone for the cheap one..

Do you know if the AZ one comes with 2 or just 1?

Edit: I think its my wheel bearing anyway..my abs and the "track off" light is on..

It makes a noise when I'm riding down the road..not sure on how to describe the noise ..

Ed sells new bearings and the Autozone price is for one bearing.

That seems pretty cheap for 2? Are those made in Japan or something?

I have no idea. They are pretty good to deal with so you may want to send them an email. I'll probably be picking up a pair as soon as I fix my LIM and install my ER rockers as well as the HV3 I have.

Sent them an email..

Curious..I checked ZZPerformance website and they got them a little bit cheaper: https://www.zzperformance.com/grand_pri ... &catid=138

Says they got a lifetime warranty..I'm guessing that's thru ZZP then? Does ZZP make these parts or contract out for them?

bearings from ed are used but they dont keep them unless theyre worth keeping. (basically if theyre off a high mileage car theyre gone.

i got mine for $35/bearing. for all the more i had to pay, its worth it to me.

I'm thinking I'm just going to buy some from ZZP..I'd rather put new on my car, and ZZP with the lifetime warranty is nice..plus its only 1 day shipping for me since I live so close..

They'll have to wait though, I already had plans for the new windshield to go in.

I saw this "how-to" on ClubGP and figured I'd post it here for those that may come across this thread and need help installing..

http://baize.sys-techs.com/wheelbearing.html

(Kyle I think you were the one who posted that.)

I meant who just posted the link on ClubGP, not who made it. But I could be wrong, can't remember who I saw posted the write up.

lolz

I'm guessing your talking about the one on Auto Zone? I wouldn't call those cheap there..more like a rip-off.

I had a gpona member PM me asking if I was interested in buying his used wheel bearings with 7,000 miles on them for $85 (both) but I really want NEW..and if I bought new I'd go with the ones on ZZP.

Ordered 2 front ones on ZZP today..they are in the process of being shipped now. Should have them either tomorrow or next day after.

Paul came over yesterday and was shocked how bad my hubs were. We switched tails to, so I got his now, they look nice!
