ZZP lists the GXP brakes has 12.7" rotors. Don't know if it's a good idea to purchase the rotors. However the brake upgrade to my GXP's was one of my most favorite mods. The car acts completely different without them. Wbody's should yeild the same results.

You're better off using the GXP caliper mounting brackets with those rotors since they aren't quite 13 inches.

I purchased the "W-Body Store 13" brake upgrade kit", aka, CTS brakes, three years ago. They work fine, EXCEPT, you need washers to space the caliper bracket or you will be rubbing your brake shoe slider/retainer.

I purchased rotors seperately, using the GXP as my application. I bought them from ROTORPROS. They are centric blanks, they can drill them if you want. Back then, I had almost no option for a replacement fit rotor. Now, there are plenty of options. You can use a stock GXP rotor without problem. Brake pedal WILL FEEL THE SAME with these, as long as your bleed port is on the top side of your caliper.

They drill them after they have been cast???? I would never do that...

No idea, I was told when I ordered them, Centric only had "blank" casts. They drilled them for me free of charge due to the error. I have been using them for a while now without any complaints. If you read up on cross drilled rotors, you'll see they are not cast with holes already in them, they are milled/drilled using a special formula/location to avoid human error. However, there are companies that will slot/drill a rotor any way you want to fit your requirements. It would be unsafe if I had drilled them myself without any knowledge, but I trust the company, and nothing has made me believe they are of poor quality or are dangerous to use.

I am just surprised they would drill on blank rotors since it structurally weakens the metal around it and makes it prone to cracking and failure. That's also not mentioning that you lose surface area when you do this (hence, going with larger rotors to make up for this) so it is probably better to go with blanks. Cross drilled/slotted rotors are more for autocross/track use than everyday street driving.

I agree 100% with everything you said Roger. I'm pretty sure the holes are cast into the GXP rotors, so if you must have the holes then go with them over the drilled Centric blanks. You can request dimpled rotors where they "drill" a rounded bottom hole about an 1/8th inch deep. That type of drilling won't cause the metal to crack around the holes since it doesn't go all the way through the rotor. They still have the look of drilled rotors without the possibility of stress cracking around the holes.

Damnir is right the guy use to drill them.. He may still do it. I run stock rear rotors for my 05 that were drilled by him .. He drilled them to match the GXP front rotors.
