I say do it. Yeah it was funny at first when people with big rims started showing up on GP forums but people bitching about it is starting to get annoying. People are going to do what they want, and honestly who gives a shit? It's their car, if they want to grenade a tranny so they can be flossin, by all means, do it. The Grand Prix is a DYING PLATFORM. There are only a select few of us that are actually still into GP's, so the more the merrier. Hey, there has to be someone that can stand out. We can't all run a GP with 18" 077's or KV5's :P

yeah, but think about how hard some of these guys have worked, and how much $$$ they've spent, to make their GP something more than just another family sedan. to make it TASTEFULLY unique, not just run down to the store and blow a couple grand on chrome wheel pizzas, slap em on, and call it "good looking". Some of these GPs look downright mean as hell, and that's without 22' rims. When I think of this "dying platform", if that is what it's becoming, I like to think of the folks whose vehicles represented "driving excitement" and turned a boring ol' Pontiac into something with so much more potential that what GM could have ever envisioned. Guys like Flip, Rick(RKELC), Malefic, Jason Klingaman, Don Rome.....the list goes on and on. And I can guarantee you not a one of those guys have had 22' rims on their GP. So, with everything I just said, do you really want what's left of this "dying platform" to be overrun with ricers and people who actually think donks are "tasteful"??? I sure as hell don't want to remember GPs, or the GP community for that matter, like that when they finally do die out....just a bunch of punk kids with more money than common sense? No, we're something better

You worry way too much about what other people spend their money on, and that response just proves my point even more that some of you bitch way too much about a car that isn't even produced anymore. I could understand about being embarrassed about it if you lived somewhere where people are obsessed with putting 24"+ on their GP's and people talk shit about your car all the time cause of it, but you're just worried about what people on the internet think of you, which is absolutely ridiculous.

I have to agree with Jake, I don't think we have any right to give someone a hard time about wheels or anything for that matter. Only thing anyone should be doing is giving advice or suggestions. We all are here for the same reason, We all love what we drive and take pride in what we own.
