ughh....Service traction control & service ABS system notices were displayed on the DIC today. Any thought to what the problem might be?

I'll bank on a wheel speed sensor or bad wiring. Very common problem in GPs. Go to someone with a Tech II or equivalent who can pull BCM codes (normal scanners can't do it) and see what it says.

I have the same problem and mine was the right rear wheel speed censor not to bad but you have to replace the whole hub assembly to fix it

i think i might have solved the problem as far as ABS. i was driving today and when i would hit slight bumps in the road, my brakes would start to grab & lock-up a little bit. it almost feels as if i need to bleed my brakes & add new fluid.

Bleed em, but also check the Wheel Sensors and make sure that they are FULLY connected to the hub. They can come loose after any work or be forgotten easily.

i feel really stupid....i was having problems with my tranny. she wasnt putting out....(just kidding) anyway when i would hit it or sometimes doing a normal acceleration the car would jerk and the tranny would slip. so i was bored and i went to mobile...and yes paid 75 cent for air (work was closed) SO i saw my tires were low one at about 15 one at 20 psi, i ushually run around 40 idc about bad wear. so i get outta the parking lot and hit it, lit up the tires (or maybe just one FWD sucks) and no slipping. found out at work the next day, what was happening was the TCS thought one wheel was slipping, even when not burning out. SILLY ME!

if your abs/tcs light comes on then you turn the car off then back on and the lights off. its going to be a sensor in the wheel bearing. You can drive for a while with it acting up ever so often.. I reccommand fixing it. Yes it will cost 300 a pop. I'v had to replace mine three times now.
