i've got 96 grand prix rims on my 97 gtp. the rim size is the same as my 97s (225/60/16) but the offset is different. i've been thinking about putting wider tires on it while maintaining the same profile for comfort. so instead of 225/60/16s i was thinking about 235/60/16s or 240/60/16s. i was just wondering if anyone on here has done that before or if i would have a problem with them fitting or rubbing. i figured since the offset was out further i shouldnt have a problem with the tires rubbing when turning.

You'd want a 235/55R16. The wheels are the same.

his tires look like radials. lol. wouldnt that wide of a tire be bad for a stock trans?
