Will be upgrading both systems this spring and I need some recommendations to start (especially with the suspension). Any help would be appreciated.

Would you want to lower the car or keep it stock height?

As for the brakes, GXP 12.7" swap (could do rear's as well) or 06+ Impala 12" front brake swap. There's other options out there as well like Corvette and CTS-V swaps, but those tend to be pricier.

I am looking to lower the car as well...

And as far as braking goes, I was leaning more towards going aftermarket. Any suggestions for those?

you mean pads? ebc and hawk are my perfered, calipers i would go with the impala set-up as mentioned above, you can always do SS brake lines aswell for good measure but not required, remeber if you do the GXP swap however you wont be able to ride on your stock 16s (if your still riding on them now)

Coilovers and 14" CTS-v brakes.

You'll thank me later....once your wallet can breathe again.

How much of a drop are you looking for? I had the Vogtland springs with the KYB AXG struts on mine. They were a very mild drop (probably about 1" from stock height) and rode well.

Also, I'd recommend posting what year you have.
