How exactly would a strut tower brace change the ride of my car? I know that it will corner better with less roll, but will it also make it even rougher over bumps?? I'm lowered by the way, so my car isn't exactly forgiving over big bumps...just curious is STB's would make that aspect of my ride worse or have no effect. Thanks

It shouldn't make it stiffer over most bumps from what I've heard. I'm not currently running one but may decide to soon.

Over bumps??? Not really....doubt an 04 squeaks much, but it will get rid of some chassis noise from flexing, so bumps might not sound as loud as they used to

no it doesnt seem to do much for bumps. i got the STB in the front and rear. still worth it for them and if you go with Don's brackets you dont need to drill holes to mount them.

The STB bars and my brackets won't make the ride stiffer. You won't even notice they are on your car until you take a corner aggressively.

I have them on the front and rear, and its not any rougher. Just feels better in the corners. Really there's not much if any downside to this mod.

Anyone have the link for the brackets? I have my STB but don't want to drill holes, mainly because I don't have a drill :P. Been puttin it off for awhile, now.
