Mkay. I've tightened everything I can find behind all four of my tires.

I checked the front ones again.

My problem though, is that I keep hearing noises from all around my suspension (Sounds like a caliper coming lose), mainly heard from the front, and I cannot pinpoint a single issue, but the sound sometimes sounds worse, then goes away, then comes back, and so on.

It's bugging the hell out of me. Any ideas?

It could be a worn out or broken swaybar link. They are known to fail on the 04+ Grand Prix.

How old are your struts? I know my bad struts sounded HORRIBLE.

They seem fine to me. Even cleaned them all up a bit.

How would I figure this out?

Remove one of the nuts holding each swaybar link and see if there's any play in the pivot joints. If there is it needs to be replaced.

Or if your endlinks are like mine the pivot point will be hanging on your sway-bar and the link will be hanging from your strut... Separately...

I'm replacing my Sway Bar Links this weekend. I've had a clunking noise from the front passenger side for some time and finally decided to dig into it. All I had to do was turn my wheels all the way to the left, reached behind the front passenger side wheel, grabbed the link (goes from sway bar to the top of the strut) and shook it. The top joint was all slop with what appeared to be a rip in some sort of rubber boot. Should be an easy fix, I might as well do my brakes while I have the wheels off...

Raphial,

When you replaced the brakes, did you use Loc-Tite on the brake caliper bracket bolt threads, and torque them to spec?

Front Caliper bracket bolts: 137 ft/lbs

Rear Caliper bracket bolts: 92 ft/lbs

Those bolts can loosen up and fall out, so be sure to check them!

Yes. I've learned my lesson before about these bolts.

I've checked both calipers and caliper brackets numerous times thinking it's them, because it sounds like them, but everything is fine every time I check.

It was indeed the swaybar link.

I got both front ones replaced today, and it rides like a charm without noise. Also, the ones I got from Autozone are friggin awesome, and a hell of a lot better than the ones I have.

It's good to hear the new links fixed the problem.
